Merceron Martin Crémant de Loire, Non-Vintage: Loire Valley, France
Grapes:Chenin Blanc/Chardonnay/Pinot Noir/Cabernet Franc
Region/History Notes: Crémant is a special term for sparkling wine made in the “traditional method” or “champagne method” from certain regions in France outside of Champagne (you can’t call anything “Champagne” unless it is from that region). Crémant de (from) Loire can be some of the best value bubbles out there! We have already tried and love their Gamay and Cabernet Franc, now let’s try the sparkling wine from Merceron Martin.
Tasting Notes: Big bubbles bursting with green apple, white flowers, white cranberry, peach, and a zesty minerality to the finish. Perfect with Mediterranean food, fried chicken, or sushi.
